Mr. Ahmed Salem

Founder and Managing Director – Bahrain

Founder of Worldlinks Advisors, Mr. Salem has extensive experience in Private Banking, Placement and Clients Relationship. Over his 30 years tenure in the field, he has held senior positions in Citibank (Cash Management), Banque Indosuez (Calyon) Private Banking, BNP Paribas (Private Banking), First Islamic Investment Bank (Arcapita) (Placement), BMB Investment Bank, (Placement), Investors Bank, (Placement/Business Development), and Mashriq Bank (Treasury & Capital Market) (Placement).

Since establishing Worldlinks Advisors in 2008, Mr. Salem took major role of narrowing the gap between the products providers and the investors in the GCC area, by developing strong relationships between the two.

Mr. Salem holds Associate Degrees in Business Management from Portsmouth Business College, Bachelor and Master Degree from Washington International University (USA).


Alvaro Bayo

Alvaro is a multifaceted professional with broad experience in marketing and data analysis, telecommunications, international trade and food.

His activities vary between the private and government sectors in several global regions including Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. He has provided many services such as economic, legal, public relations, investment and particularly in the primary sector of agriculture with livestock breeding and Olive Oil as well as its commercialization.

Based in Madrid, Spain, he has associates in China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Indonesia and Malaysia.

Alvaro holds an Economics and Business Administration degree from the University of Alcalá (Madrid) as well as an MBA in International Trade and Law from the IE Business School also in Madrid.

Francisco Foncea

Francisco is an experienced brand and marketing executive.

He has over 25 years of international experience having worked in leading branding consultancies as well as managing a wide portfolio of brands of a major multinational Spanish telecoms company.

His principal areas of expertise and skills include global and cross-cultural relations, brand development, strategy and implementation, marketing, advertising communications and project management. Countries where he has worked include the UK, Spain, Italy and USA.

Francisco is a dual British/Spanish citizen and holds a degree in Visual Communication from Ravensbourne University of Design in London and Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
